On the back of the postcard the message reads “This is a view of West Felton, the next village. The shop at the corner is where I go for my Woodbines and the shop by the cart is where I get my necessaries such as writing paper. The Post Office here is where the extra large telepraph pole is. The street to the right is where my boss lives.” 14/3/1918
We also know that the shop on the right hand side, with the sign on the wall, was owned by W EDWARDS.
